Sarah Withrow King is a graduate of the University of Oregon. Immediately following graduation in 2002, she worked for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in Norfolk, VA. In addition to her work with PETA, she worked and volunteered for an after-school children's program for an underserved community in Norfolk, and served in multiple capacities at First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk. Later, she attended Palmer Seminary and obtained an MTS with a concentration in Christian Faith and Public Policy. She currently works at PETA and runs a website: http://www.JesusPeopleforAnimals.com. King lives in Philadelphia with her family and a small menagerie of companion animals. She and her husband are covenant members of Circle of Hope.
