Robert Hernan Cubillos
AboutRobert Cubillos has spent over thirty-five years in Christian ministry, the last thirty of which have been on the pastoral staff at Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rolling Hills Estates, California.
He has also spent as many years teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in Christian and secular institutions. For the last fifteen years, he has taught philosophy and graduate humanities courses at California State University, Dominguez Hills. He spends summer breaks lecturing internationally in churches, seminaries, and universities in the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and Brazil.
Professor Cubillos earned his doctorate in religion and social ethics from the University of Southern California. He also studied at the Hebrew Union College, Los Angeles, and has a graduate degree in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. In addition to two other earned graduate degrees, he has also studied at the University of Strasbourg, France, the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California, and was accepted as a visiting scholar to Cambridge University, England, during his 2013 sabbatical where he conducted extensive research and writing for his book Faith, Hope, and Love in the Kingdom of God. He lives in the South Bay (the southwest peninsula area of Los Angeles County) with his wife Debbie and their three children.
