Eileen Egan

About

Eileen Egan worked with refugees during World War II under the auspices of Catholic Relief Services. A co-worker of Mother Teresa and an associate of Dorothy Day, she played a critical role in the peace lobby at Vatican II. She has written extensively for 'The Catholic Worker' and is author of Christopher Award winner, 'Mother Teresa: Such a Vision of the Street' and 'For Whom There Is No Room: Scenes from the Refugee World'.
