Albert Newman

About

Albert Newman (1852-1933) was an American church historian and one of a small group of Baptist scholars who have made a contribution to the history of Anabaptism during the Reformation. He taught church history at a number of universities, including Rochester Baptist Theological Seminary, Mercer University, the University of Chicago, and McMaster University. His other publications include 'The Baptist Churches in the United States' (2 vv., 1894) and 'A Manual of Church History' (2 vv., 1899 and 1903).
