RETURNS POLICY

When purchasing through our online bookstore you may return any title purchased within 30 days of your order. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Please fax your request for returns to: 541-344-1506.

Books which carry our ISBN and which we are currently printing are eligible for return and must be in their original condition in order to receive a full refund.

Please wrap the book(s) securely to avoid damage in shipment, indicate the reason for the return and include the original packing slip. Please use a traceable form of shipment such as UPS or USPS Registered Mail.

We do not pay for return shipping charges unless the book is damaged, defective, or shipped in error.

All merchandise must be free of store price labels. Any returned books deemed unsalable will be sent back to customer with additional shipping due.

EXAMINATION COPY POLICY

Professors at recognized institutions may request and examine Wipf and Stock titles for possible classroom use. Exam copies are mailed with a provisional invoice billed at 50% discount. Professors may examine the book for 30 days before taking one of the following actions: 1) adopt the textbook; 2) pay the invoice; 3) return the book. If the textbook is adopted and a bookstore order for 15 or more copies is received, the exam copy becomes a free desk copy. (Please notify us of the adoption and the bookstore order) Exam copies are limited to one copy per title, per professor. We do reserve the right to refuse exam copies to individuals who abuse the policy.

    Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

    This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Wipf and Stock Publishers website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

    The Way We Use Information

    We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

    We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such uses.

    Our Commitment To Data Security

    To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

    In our efforts to protect your online transactions, we use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). If your browser is capable of SSL (and most are), your personal information will be automatically encrypted, or encoded, before it is sent over the Internet.

    Wipfandstock.com (and its divisions) has also obtained a digital certificate from Thawte, Inc., a leading provider of Internet trust services. When you enter a secure portion of our site (which is any page containing any of your personal information), an image of a closed lock or a solid key should appear in the bottom bar of your browser window. If you click on this image, a small popup window displaying site-security information will appear. This certificate guarantees that your personal information is being transmitted in secure (encrypted) form to our web server, not to some unknown or unauthorized server.
