Eighty percent of all new church members become part of a local congregation because of a previous relationship or friendship with another member of that congregation. Yet in spite of a number of excellent books written concerning relational evangelism, little seems to happen in actually motivating, training, and mobilizing church members to evangelize their neighbors, friends, businesses associates, and family members. That is, until You Are My Witnesses. This new book is designed to be used by small groups in local churches as an action-reflection training manual for those committed to be Christ's witnesses.
Endorsements & Reviews-
If thousands of mainline churches across North America would use Charles Van Engen's powerful new book according to instructions, entire denominations which have been losing members for twenty-five years could bottom out and start to grow once again. -- C. Peter Wagner Fuller Theological Seminary
You Are My Witnesses brings together theology, prayer, and the practice of evangelism, and I strongly recommend the book. We can study evangelism, dissect it, and plan for it, but Charles Van Engen tells us how to do it. -- Kenneth Eriks Fellowship Reformed Church Holland, Michigan
You Are My Witnesses provides a prayer-filled step-by-step methodology for encountering, listening to, and communicating the gospel to our neighbors. I highly recommend it to all who seek to mobilize the entire congregation in its ministry of evangelism. -- Eugene Heideman Reformed Church in America New York, New York
