“Breaking Ground is a thoughtful pastoral guide to a fruitful Christian life. Each chapter provides the basics of Christianity, the practical steps in applying and living biblical truth, and the rich devotional components to invite readers to muse deeply and seek intimacy with the Lord and the transformative power of his presence. I recommend Breaking Ground for new believers and believers grown weary.”
—R. Heath Robertson, Spiritual Support Director & Bible Department Head at Enlightium Academy
“B. J. has a pastor’s heart. This shows in the way he approaches the matter of discipleship. He presents the foundations of the faith in a simplistic way that sets a new believer on course toward the true transformation that eludes most saints. Discipleship can only be done in the context of relationship. He clearly shows it to be more than the mere learning of doctrines. Ultimately it is the reincarnation of Christ.”
—Dan Finley, Pastoral Counselor, Resurrection Life Church, Picayune, Mississippi
