“Musings on Career and Faith offers thoughtful insights for those inside and outside the boardroom. These brilliant and well-crafted reflections are simple yet profound, and ones for us to ponder as we respond to our higher calling of work. . . . There is simply something for everyone looking to maximize their influence as a leader.”

“In his uncanny ability to draw you into each musing, Bates underscores our interconnectedness and our need to nourish our mind, body, and spirit. This book is a reminder to readers that we do not need to sacrifice our spiritual self for our work, but rather find a level of fulfillment in being our true self.”
—Deena Klodt (Michif), Red River Metis and Member of the Manitoba Metis Federation

“‘Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth’ (1 John 3:18). This theme underlines Paul’s Musings on Career and Faith as he reflects on what he has learned in his journey of life. Foundational are the lessons learned on how one can have a fulfilling career while still honoring God. . . . Paul’s book is a call to action for those willing to rise to the challenge.”
—Paul M. Field, retired Financial Services Executive
