“At a time when many feel like they have limitless freedom to pursue personal dreams—yet feel less than fulfilled or outright isolated—Joann Altiero offers a time-tested path to obtaining a sense of solid meaning in life. . . . Altiero strikes a delicate balance between faith and reason, justice and mercy, and the active and contemplative. . . . Sharing personal stories of suffering, joy, and much vulnerability, this engaging book leaves one with a healthy response to life’s crises and miseries.”
