- It Wasn’t All for Nothing
Bill Hill grew up in South Florida and survived a very rough adolescence. He and his siblings experienced torturous abuse and bullying. As a teenager, he turned to violence and drug use. At eighteen years old, he was facing twenty years in prison. He had a son that gave him a reason to live and straightened up in order to give him a better life. After being released from prison, he moved to New Jersey with his son for a job opportunity. He worked hard, got married, and had a daughter. He struggled with a serious illness and, at thirty years old, gave his life to Jesus Christ. His life was changed and was healed from the painful memories of his past. He still experienced challenges, described throughout this book, including possibly facing another ninety-one years in a level-five state prison. He stayed strong in his faith and felt a calling to help others who have suffered with trauma to find forgiveness, hope, peace, and true healing.
