Julie L. Moore is the author of four books of poetry: Full Worm Moon, which will be published in the spring by Cascade Books in its Poiema Poetry Series; Particular Scandals, published in 2013, also by Cascade Books; Slipping Out of Bloom; and Election Day. A Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize nominee, Moore has won the Editor's Choice Award from Writecorner Press, the Janet B. McCabe Poetry Prize from Ruminate, and the Rosine Offen Memorial Award from the Free Lunch Arts Alliance. Her poetry has appeared widely in such notable publications as Alaska Quarterly Review, The Christian Century, Christianity and Literature, Image, Missouri Review Online, Nimrod, New Ohio Review, Poetry Daily, Prairie Schooner, Relief, The Southern Review, and Verse Daily. Her work has also appeared in several anthologies, including Becoming: What Makes a Woman, published by University of Nebraska Gender Programs, and Every River On Earth: Writing from Appalachian Ohio, published by Ohio University Press.
