Latha Christie

Dr. Latha Christie is a Senior Scientist with more than thirty-one years of experience and presently the Associate Director in Defence Research and Development Organization, Ministry of Defense, India. After graduating in electronics and communication engineering from GCE TN with honors, she completed her Master’s and PhD in aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.



She met Jesus Christ in a death bed of pneumonia while on a ventilator and gave her life over to the Lord. She has completed her Master of Divinity from Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore, and her Master of Arts in Christian studies from Madras University. She obtained her apologetics training from RZIM. She also completed her International Executive Diploma in project management from I2P2M in collaboration with George Washington University School of Business, Washington, DC. She received the prestigious Prof. Satish Dhawan Award for Engineers, instituted by the Government of Karnataka, for outstanding achievements in the field of engineering sciences for the year 2014, awarded by the Chief Minister. She has filed a patent and has around sixty publications in international journals and conferences. She has authored three books.
