Matthew PalaiMatthew Palai was born and raised in India where he studied in a seminary to become a Catholic priest; however, God had other plans. He left the seminary, joined the Indian military, became an electrical engineer, and then immigrated to the United States in the 1980s. In the United States he worked for various government agencies including Mass Transit, Department of Public Welfare, Department of Corrections, and the Department of Health.
His hobbies include reading and observing the world around him for correlations between conduct and religious practices. His first book, The Lord’s Prayer: Live it or Quit Saying It, was written to educate his readers on the importance of the Lord’s Prayer. This recent book, Psalms of COVID-19, was written to emphasize the importance of gratitude to others who help us to lead a happy life and to thank God for all the gifts he has bestowed upon us.
