Shelby T. Boese

Shel has served most recently in church transition/revitalization work at Pilgrim Church (NAB), Vancouver, BC (currently) and Bayshore Church (MCUSA/Evana) in Sarasota, FL. He led a new site plant/location for a mega church in Toronto,ON called The Meeting House; and was a Christian & Missionary Alliance District church planter and lead pastor in Sioux Falls, SD, prior to that. His first years of ministry and ordination was with the Assemblies of God (sister church to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada) and served as an associate pastor for college-age and small groups ministry at First Assembly of God, Sioux Falls.

He has a keen interest in Eastern Orthodoxy, Wesleyianism, Anabaptism/Neo-Anabaptism and Pentecostalism. More recently he has started looking at the Ana/Baptist intersections in North America. He has been an adjunct instructor at Sioux Falls Seminary, before becoming a Kairos Affiliate Professor, teaching denominational heritage (Pentecostal/Charismatic) and Introduction to Renewalism/Pentecostalism courses.
