Endorsements & Reviews-

“What enormous energy it takes to make something of ourselves. To pause and ponder can be to acknowledge our incompleteness and our doubts about keeping faith with some deep inner truth. Benson discovers a fork in this same road. Into his everyday circumstances and choices comes the gentle wooing of One who offers life as a gift, opening a pathway towards fullness and peace beyond our own imaginings. Benson’s journey is profound, engaging and refreshing.”

Christopher Brown, author of Guiding Gideon: Awakening to Life and Faith

“This heart-warming book by Franciscan tertiary Terry Gatfield is the sort of book you would give to a family member, a colleague at work or a mate in a pub. It is a most winsome tale of how the gospel can be lived, how theology makes sense in daily life and how goodness can be spread in our world.”

Charles Ringma, author of Dare to Journey with Henri Nouwen; Resist the Powers with “Jacques Ellul, Seek the Silences with Thomas Merton.

In the creation of Benson, Terry Gatfield takes us on a journey that is often funny, but also profound, moving and always honest and thoughtful in drawing us deeper into relationship with the God who woos us, invites us, challenges us and whispers our name.”

Irene Alexander, author of Dancing with God: Transformation through Relationship; Practicing the Presence of Jesus; Awakening Desire; Encountering the Divine Feminine in the Masculine Christian Journey.
