About-

No one likes to suffer. It hurts.

We all suffer, though, in one form or another, at some time or another.

What is God’s heart towards his children as they suffer? Does God care like a loving earthly father would for his suffering children? If God loves his children, why would he allow them to go through pain in the first place?

These questions are all too common—the very questions Catherine Rackley pleaded before God when she was pummeled repeatedly by multiple hardships, all starting with a cancer diagnosis at the age of twenty-five.

“Is God really good?”

“Does he love me?”

“Is he hearing my prayers?”

The hardships did not erase, but some answers did come. You are invited to walk through this vulnerable journey with Catherine where she wrestles with blood, sweat, and tears. . . . Her hope is that you will find those secret places where God led her.

Endorsements & Reviews-

“What a gift to my soul these pages are! Tear-Watered Blooms is nourishment for the weary soul! Catherine writes in such beautiful detail and generous vulnerability to take us to the Lord’s feet alongside her. I praise the Lord for this book and the story he wrote in Catherine’s life that leads us all to a closer relationship with him!”

—Lara Casey, author of Make it Happen and Cultivate

“Catherine Rackley’s book is all candor and warmth. Better still, it is marked by continual eruptions of praise to the God who understands our pain. Read and know a daughter rejoicing in the goodness of her Father, and be encouraged that he sees you also and delights to show you his goodness.”

—Rebecca Brewster Stevenson, author of Healing Maddie Brees and Wait: Thoughts and Practice in Waiting on God

“Catherine’s story is your story and my story, for whose life is free from pain? The good news for all of us is Jesus meets us in our pain. He is the comforter and healer we are all looking for. Thank you, Catherine, for encouraging us to place our trust in the Great Physician.”

—Natalie Gwyn, author of Okayest Mom, speaker, storyteller
